PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Esthetician program is designed to provide students with knowledge to master all required skills to function as a facial and skin care specialist with an emphasis on cleansing, waxing and massaging the skin. Conferences and demonstrations with audiovisual help that focus on anatomy, physiology, laws and regulations, nutrition and safety, hair removal, facial massages, infection control and decontamination. Students will participate in practice with other students and clients.

Graduates will have acquired all necessary tools to thrive in this exciting career, whether it is at a a spa, medical office, health club and/or resort.

DURATION

260 hours (130 hours theory and  130 hours of service credit / lab.)

The Esthetician Program may be completed in approximately 8-9 weeks for full-time  students attending 30-32 hours per week and 16-17 weeks for part-time students attending a minimum of 16 hours per week. Completion time will depend on students' actual attendance. Classes start every week.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Students must be at least 16 years of age, be interviewed by school official, show proof of a 12th Grade Diploma, identification, complete and sign the School Student Enrollment Agreement.

1) Social Security card

2) Identification with photo

3) 12th Grade Diploma or equivalent

4) $600 (include registration, books, one kit and one uniform)
